Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s I Want to Talk. The actor took to X and shared a teaser of his next film.
“We all know that one person who ̶l̶o̶v̶e̶s̶ lives to talk. Here’s the story of a man who always looks at the brighter side of life, no matter what life throws at him! Tag that person you know who lives to talk!” Junior Bachchan captioned the teaser.
“I don’t just love to talk. I live to talk. This is the only basic difference between being alive and dying. People who are dead can speak, but people who aren’t, can never say anything about it,” a voice over of Abhishek says.
Produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, Shoojit Sircar’s I Want to Talk will release in theatres on November 22.

Last month, Abhishek Bachchan shared the teaser poster of his new movie Be Happy on Instagram. The Refugee will be playing the role of a single father of a daughter essayed by Inayat Verma. The film has been directed by choreographer-filmmaker Remo D’Souza.
Bachchan, the son of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, made his Bollywood debut in 2000 with JP Dutta’s Refugee. He is known for films like Guru, Bluffmaster, Dhoom, Sarkar, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Bunty Aur Babli, Guru, Yuva and others. He won three Filmfare Awards in Best Suppporting Actor category for Yuva, Sarkar and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Abhishek Bachchan also appeared in a web show Breathe: Into The Shadows which streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
Abhishek Bachchan is married to former Miss World and actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The duo have a daughter Aaradhya, born in 2011.
Shoojit Sircar films
Shoojit Sircar is a popular filmmaker who made his directorial debut with romantic war drama Yahaan. The 2005 film featured Minissha Lamba and Jimmy Sheirgill in lead roles. He shot into limelight in 2012 with critical and commercial success Vicky Donor. The film featured Ayushmann Khura playing the role of a sperm donor.
Vicky Donor won the National Award for National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The film also featured Yami Gautam (Dhar), Annu Kapoor and Dolly Ahluwalia in pivotal roles.

Sircar followed the success with political thriller Madras Cafe, based on Indian intervention in the Sri Lankan crisis. Starring John Abraham, the film received critical success. He then helmed Piku, a 2015 emotional drama about a father’s bonding with his daughter. The film featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan was a major commercial success. However, Pink emerged as a big critical and commercial success in Shoojit Sircar’s career. The legal thriller starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari won him the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues.
Shoojit Sircar cast Varun Dhawan as a hotel management intern taking care of his comatose colleague played by Banita Sandhu in 2018 release October. Two years later, he reunited with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurana in Gulabo Sitabo.
In 2021, Sircar won accolades with his biographical drama Sardar Udham, based on the life of freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh who killed General Michael O’Dwyer to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Vicky Kaushal essayed the titular role of Sardar Udham.
