Bobby Deol has joined the star cast of Vijay’s final film. The yet-to-be-titled Thalapathy 69 is the superstar’s last film before he focuses on politics.
“100% official now, Super happy & excited to announce that @thedeol joins #Thalapathy69 cast,” KVN Productions posted on its X handle.
Deol also shared the announcement on his Instagram stories, saying,”Super excited to be a part of the project.”
The film is directed by H Vinoth while the music is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander

Bobby Deol won the IIFA 2024 Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for Animal. In a reel shared by his elder brother Sunny Deol, an emotional Deol was seen kissing his wife Tanya after his name was announced.
“Most deserving man gets the award, my brother, Bob, the Lord,” the Gadar 2 actor posted.
Bobby Deol responded,”Love you Bhaiya you are my life.”

Animal proved to be a turning point in Bobby Deol’s career. Released last year, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial featured him playing a mute antagonist Abrar Haque. The film is about Rannvijay, played by Ranbir Kapoor, who sets on a vengeance after an assassination attempt on his father, essayed by Anil Kapoor.
Animal also featured Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, Siddhant Karnik, Anshul Chauhan, Saloni Batra, Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra and Saurabh Sachdeva. The film will also have a sequel Animal Park, the teaser of which was revealed in the end credits of Animal itself. In the second instalment, Ranbir will essay the dual role of Aziz Haque.
