Kim Woo-bin starrer Officer Black Belt is streaming on Netflix and I wasted no time in watching this action entertainer. TBH, as I progress on this blogging journey, I am now discovering more interesting content that I hope would resonate the same with you.
Directed by Joo-hwan Kim, Officer Black Belt is according to me a full-on entertainer that you should definitely watch.
Officer Black Belt plot
The action comedy entertainer revolves around Lee Jung-do (Woo-bin), who is fond of e-sports and works as a delivery partner for his father’s chicken joint. On a fateful evening, he uses his combat skill to save a martial arts officer from an ex-convict.
Jung-do’s bravery is rewarded and he soon finds himself in a meeting with Kim Sun-min (Kim Seong-gyoon), who finds him a suitable replacement for the injured officer the former saved the other day. Jung-do’s new work assignment is to monitor ex-convicts who are released from prison with an electronic ankle bracelet that tracks their movements.
As a martial arts partner, Jung do manages to detect and at times use his combat skills to overpower the criminals who go rogue and don’t adhere to the tag protocol.

Jung do, who now likes his work, gets on board a new assignment with his mentor Kim, and the duo has to keep an eye on a convict who was recently released from prison. This convict served 20 years in prison for raping 15 children and is not an easy nut to crack.
What follows next is Jung do’s challenging task of keeping an eye on Kang, who hasn’t mended his ways and is out to do something more brutal.
