CTRL Netflix movie starring Ananya Panday will release on this date in October 2024

Ananya Panday starrer thriller CTRL will stream on Neftlix on October 4. The film helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane is about a couple who create content on the internet together. All hell breaks loose when they break up.

On August 5, Netflix had shared a video of the film’s announcement on its YouTube channel. The video has so far garnered more than 60,000 views online. “You are in control of your happiness, relationships, Joys, Life. Think Again,” reads the text in the announcement teaser with montages of Panday and Vihaan Samrat.

Vikramaditya Motwane had told Netflix CTRL will try to explore the answer to a question: Are we actually in control of all the digital extensions of our life or are we being controlled?

As the teaser suggests, the on-screen couple would be in a rude shock to face the developments that unfold after the split. You would be asking yourself, are you actually in control of all the digital extensions of your life?

Netflix CTRL cast

As mentioned above, Netflix’s Hindi psychological thriller flick CTRL features Ananya Panday and Vihaan Samrat. In a statement released by Netflix, Panday had said,”CTRL is engaging, impactful and definitely makes you wonder if you are truly in control of your life. I truly believe that this film is for everyone, given the exponential advancement in tech and our rising dependency on it. What better platform to reach the audience with a narrative as compelling as CTRL than Netflix?”

This is a the second Netflix outing for Ananya after Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which released last December. The film had featured Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. Panday had essayed the role of Ahana Singh in the film which revolved around three friends who dealt with their relationships and own issues against the pressures of social media. The film was directed by Arjun Varain Singh and written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
