Sikandar teaser: Salman Khan’s Eid 2025 release promises a massy action fest

Salman Khan-starrer Sikandar‘s teaser is finally here. The makers of the much-awaited action film unveiled the teaser of the A R Murugadoss film on Saturday. Initially, the first look was slated to be released on Friday on the occasion of Khan’s birthday.

However, Nadiadwala Grandson, the makers of Sikandar, rescheduled the teaser launch to pay tribute to former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, who breathed his last on Thursday.

“As the nation pays tribute to the Honourable Dr. Manmohan Singh, we have rescheduled the #SikandarTeaser launch to 4:05 PM Tomorrow. In this time of reflection and respect, we stand united with the nation. We appreciate your patience and understanding— the teaser will be worth the wait!” Nadiadwala Grandson’s official Instagram handle posted.

Hours ago, Salman Khan took to Instagram and thanked his fans and loved ones for wishing him on his birthday, “Thank u all for your birthday wishes.. much appreciated. Hope you like the teaser of Sikandar….

Salman Khan’s Sikandar teaser

The one-minute and 41-second teaser shows Sikandar entering, surrounded by four ‘baddies’ dressed as samurais, waiting to attack him.

“Suna Hai Ki Bahut Saare Log Mere Peeche Pade Hain. Bas Mere Mudne Ki Der Hai (Heard a lot of people are after me. Just a matter of me turning towards them,” says a savage Sikandar, as he finishes off all four attackers one by one.

The teaser has Salman Khan’s swag written all over it. The film is set to be released around Eid next year.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar is written and directed by A R Murugadoss. For the first time, the ace Tamil filmmaker has teamed up with Bollywood’s Bhaijaan. Salman Khan is paired opposite Rashmika Mandanna.

Murugadoss is known for films like Ghajini (Tamil, Hindi versions), Thuppakki, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Akira, Sarkar and Durbar.

In March, Salman had announced his collaboration with Murugadoss in a social post. “”Glad to join forces with the exceptionally talented, @ARMurugadoss and my friend, #SajidNadiadwala for a very exciting film !! This collaboration is special, and I look forward to this journey with your love and blessings. Releasing EID 2025 (sic),” the 59-year-old superstar had posted.

Murugadoss had told The Times of India that he and Salman Khan were supposed to work five years ago. “In addition to high-octane action sequences, it will be packed with emotions and also carry a powerful social message. It will be a pan-Indian film. Audiences can expect to see a new side of Salman Khan in this film,” he had told the website.

As soon as the Sikandar teaser dropped, Salman Khan’s fans went crazy, showering their love on all platforms.

“Khatarnak … BGM…Masss…. Dialogue…. Sikandar,” a user posted on YouTube while reacting to the teaser.

“Arm direction Salman swag n Santosh bgm….goosebumps overloaded,” another user posted.

“What a Intensity Level of his Eyes Salman Khan Killed it..!!” a user said.

A user said,”Movie ka pata nahi, But salman’s iconic title songs ka comeback toh ho hi gaya…SaNa magical”

Salman Khan’s latest film

Salman Khan’s last film was Tiger 3, the Yash Raj spy universe flick wherein he reprised his role of Tiger aka Avinash Singh Rathore. The Maneesh Sharma directorial saw him reunite with Katrina Kaif, who returned as ISI agent Zoya. The film also saw Shah Rukh Khan making a cameo as ‘Pathaan’, another star of YRF spy universe. Emraan Hashmi played antagonist Aatish Rehman.

In the outgoing year, Salman Khan made a cameo in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. He joined the filmmaker’s cop universe as Chulbul Pandey, the iconic cop character from his own Dabangg franchise. The Diwali release saw Ajay Devgn reprise his role of cop Bajirao Singham. The film had a galaxy of star including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh (as Simmba) and Akshay Kumar as (Veer Sooryavanshi). Arjun Kapoor played antagonist ‘Danger Lanka’.

Salman Khan was also seen in a cameo in Varun Dhawan’s Baby John this year. The film produced by Atlee and directed by Kalees also had Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in pivotal roles.
