Security: Antonio Banderas as security guard tries to save girl from armed gang

Antonio Banderas-starrer Security is leaving soon on Netflix. The 2017 survival action thriller is about an ex-Marine who is deputed as a security guard in a mall and has to save a girl from armed gang.

The film directed by Alain DesRocher released in 2017 will leave Netflix on October 2.

Security movie plot

The film is about Eddie Deacon, an ex-Marine Corps captain who is in dire need of a job and money. Away from his wife and daughter who live two states away, he finally finds work as a security guard at the Ridgeside Mall.

On the rainy night, he joins the mall unaware of what lies in store for him and his new colleagues. On the other hand, a girl, witness to her father’s murder, is being taken by a US Marshal team ahead of her testification before court the next day. To her horror, the security team is ambushed and the members are killed but the girl named Jamie escapes and knocks at the mall’s door for help. Eddie promptly lets her inside. Meanwhile, an aged man named Charlie (Ben Kingsley) offers bribe to Eddie and other guards to hand over the girl.

When Eddie refuses, Charlie orders an attack on the mall. The nearly two-hour action thriller is about Eddie and his team fighting with the armed mercenaries for a sole mission- Save Jamie.

Security features Antonio Banderas in the lead role. The 64-year-old actor is known for Philadelphia, The House of the Spirits, Assassins, The Mask of Zorro, Original Sin and Frida.
The film also features Ben Kingsley, known for having portrayed Mahatma Gandhi in Richard Attenborough’s Gandhi.

Katherine Mary de la Rocha, Liam McIntyre, Chad Lindberg and Gabriella Wright also feature in the film.
